Paste a CreatorSkills workflow into your dot

dots is OpenAI's personal agent, inside ChatGPT and Codex. Your dot keeps working between conversations and remembers your preferences, so you can paste a skill's instructions once and ask it to use them again. There is no documented native SKILL.md import yet, so this works via paste-in.

What actually works

Works via paste-in. Native SKILL.md import is not documented yet.

Paste the instructions

Every Claude, ChatGPT, and Universal listing includes the full skill text. That text is what you paste into your dot.

Ask it to remember

Ask your dot to remember the instructions and use them when you name the workflow. If it forgets, paste them again.

No file import yet

There is no documented native SKILL.md import yet. Cursor .mdc rules are a different format and do not apply here.

Get started in 3 steps

dots is available to ChatGPT Pro, Business and Enterprise users in eligible markets.

1

Copy the skill's instructions

Open a dots-ready skill and copy the skill text from the install tab. You paste the text; you do not upload a file.

2

Paste it into your dot

Paste the instructions into a chat with your dot in ChatGPT or Codex, and ask it to remember them and use them whenever you ask for this workflow.

3

Ask for the workflow by name

In later chats, ask your dot to use the skill by name. If it has not kept the instructions, paste them again. There is no documented native SKILL.md import yet.

Every OpenAI dots skill in the catalog

Listings that include the full skill text (Claude, ChatGPT, or Universal). Cursor-only .mdc packages are not in this list.
