WEBINAR SCRIPT
[00:00] Opening Hook
So, I've had this thing running under my desk for four months now, and I want to be honest about it: for the first three weeks, it was worse than Dropbox. I'm talking about my homemade cloud server, and I'm sure some of you have tried something similar. Right, let's dive into why I did it and what I learned.
[05:00] Authority and Credibility
I've been running my homelab for four years in a flat with thin walls, and I've learned a thing or two about what works and what doesn't. Honestly, it's been a journey, and I've had my fair share of failures. But, I've also had some significant successes, like when a viewer sent me a photo of her restored family library after a drive failure. That's what makes it all worth it.
[10:00] Core Teaching
Framework: Hardware Selection
Choosing the right low-power hardware for a quiet homelab is crucial. You don't want to be that person who wakes up the whole household at 3 AM because their server is loudly humming away. So, let's look at some options. [SLIDE: Hardware Comparison]
- Mini PCs: They're small, quiet, and relatively powerful. Specifically, the Intel NUC is a great option.
- Old Laptops: You can repurpose an old laptop as a server, and it's a great way to give new life to old hardware.
- [POLL: What hardware do you currently use or plan to use for your homelab?]
- A) Mini PC
- B) Old Laptop
- C) Desktop
- D) Other
OBJECTION BANK
- I've tried building a homelab before, and it was a disaster - how can I trust this will be different?
SPOKEN TRANSITION (30-45 words):
Honestly, that's a fair concern, and I would ask the same thing. However, this course is designed to provide the support and guidance needed to successfully set up and maintain your homelab.
SLIDE: Comparison of common pitfalls and how the course addresses them.
- I'm not sure if I have the technical expertise to set up a homelab - is this course for me?
SPOKEN TRANSITION (30-45 words):
Right, this course is for working software developers, but it's not for complete beginners. If you have basic technical competence, we'll guide you through the process.
SLIDE: Prerequisites and expected outcomes.
- $149 is a lot for me right now - is there a payment plan or discount available?
SPOKEN TRANSITION (30-45 words):
I understand that the price can be a barrier. We have a webinar-only price of $149, and while there's no payment plan, this is a limited-time offer.
SLIDE: Price comparison and value proposition.
- I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to setting up a homelab - how much time will this require?
SPOKEN TRANSITION (30-45 words):
So, the course is designed to be completed over a weekend, and we recommend about four hours a week for maintenance and learning.
SLIDE: Time commitment breakdown.
- What makes this course different from all the free content available online?

The promise, in the words an attendee would use. "How to get your first five coaching clients without an audience" is a webinar; "coaching business growth" is a category. The narrower this is, the less the teaching block wanders.

Questions
What is a credit?
The unit a run is priced in. Each app has a fixed price in credits, shown on its Generate button, and a run costs exactly that. Nothing is metered by length or time.
Am I charged if a run fails?
No. Starting a run holds the credits rather than spending them. The hold becomes a charge only when the run succeeds; a failed or cancelled run releases it.
Can I edit the brief and run it again?
Yes. Change any input and press Generate again, or open an earlier run and choose Adjust and run again to start from a copy of its brief. Uploaded files need attaching again. Each run is new and costs the applet's price; the earlier run stays as it was.
Where are my results kept?
Every run you start is listed under Your runs at /create/runs. Each one opens its own page, where you can read, copy and download the files it produced.
