Slot 1 - Monday, Mar 3 · Instagram · value_post · Repairs and Rescues · 11:30 · Common mistakes when desoldering switches
When desoldering switches, it's easy to damage the surrounding components. I've done it. The fix is to use less heat and more patience.
Don't touch the iron to the switch's plastic parts.
Use desoldering wick to clean up excess solder before it hardens.

My first keyboard repair was a disaster. I managed to strip a screw and break a switch.
It was a cheap keyboard, but the failure taught me to be more careful.
I spent hours researching how to fix it properly.
The second attempt was successful, but it was a hard lesson in patience and proper technique.

Slot 3 - Wednesday, Mar 5 · Instagram · hot_take · Switch and Sound Science · 12:00 · Debunking switch myth: does switch type really matter?
Switch type does matter, but not for the reasons you think.
It's not about the switch's feel or sound; it's about its durability and performance.
I've seen keyboards with cheap switches that still sound great.
The real difference is in how long they last.
Slot 16 - Monday, Mar 24 · Instagram · value_post · Repairs and Rescues · 11:30 · Troubleshooting common keyboard issues
When your keyboard stops working, it's frustrating.
First, try the basics: check the cable, restart your computer.
If that doesn't work, it might be a switch or solder issue.
I've got a guide on my website for common fixes.
Save this for your next keyboard emergency.

Questions
What is a credit?
The unit a run is priced in. Each app has a fixed price in credits, shown on its Generate button, and a run costs exactly that. Nothing is metered by length or time.
Am I charged if a run fails?
No. Starting a run holds the credits rather than spending them. The hold becomes a charge only when the run succeeds; a failed or cancelled run releases it.
Can I edit the brief and run it again?
Yes. Change any input and press Generate again, or open an earlier run and choose Adjust and run again to start from a copy of its brief. Uploaded files need attaching again. Each run is new and costs the applet's price; the earlier run stays as it was.
Where are my results kept?
Every run you start is listed under Your runs at /create/runs. Each one opens its own page, where you can read, copy and download the files it produced.
