Troubleshooting: If Your ChatGPT Skill Isn't Working

ChatGPT seems to be ignoring the skill instructions. Make sure you started a new conversation after saving. ChatGPT doesn't retroactively apply Custom Instructions to existing threads. Open a fresh chat.

The skill content was too long to paste into Custom Instructions. Custom Instructions has a 1,500-character character limit.
