Partner Read: Back of Pack
Overlap type: same_niche_different_angle - The audiences of both "Slow Miles" and "Back of Pack" are interested in ultramarathon running, but they approach the topic from different perspectives, with "Slow Miles" focusing on training and "Back of Pack" focusing on gear reviews and aid-station nutrition, making the overlap complementary rather than competitive.
Size gap: 34,000 vs 52,000 = 1.53× - This size gap is within the 3× rule, making it a feasible collaboration without needing a compelling angle to justify the difference in size.

I just watched your video on DNF-ing at mile 62 and it's the most honest thing I've seen on running YouTube this year. I want to be honest about it - as someone who's also been in tough spots during races, I appreciated your candor. My channel, "Slow Miles", focuses on ultramarathon training for people who are not fast, and I think our audiences could really benefit from a joint project. Would you be open to chatting about a potential collaboration, maybe a joint video where we run a 50-miler together and share our different perspectives?

Subject: Collaboration Opportunity for Ultramarathon Enthusiasts
Dear Back of Pack,
I've been a fan of your content, especially your recent video on DNF-ing at mile 62, which I found to be incredibly honest and relatable. As the creator of "Slow Miles", a YouTube channel focused on ultramarathon training for people who are not fast, I believe our audiences share a common interest in ultrarunning. I'd like to propose a collaboration where we run a 50-miler together, filming each other, and each cut our own version from the shared footage. This could provide a unique perspective on gear and training. With my channel's 34,000 subscribers and your 52,000 subscribers, I think we could create something special. Let's discuss the details and see if this is something you'd be interested in.
Collab Plan: Slow Miles × Back of Pack
Recommended format: Joint video - this format is recommended because it allows both creators to showcase their unique perspectives on ultramarathon running, with Slow Miles focusing on training and mental preparation, and Back of Pack focusing on gear and logistics. The size gap between the two channels is manageable, and a joint video would provide a unique and diverse collaboration.
Alternative: Guest appearance - if a joint video is not feasible, a guest appearance by Slow Miles on Back of Pack's channel could be a good alternative. This would allow Slow Miles to share their expertise on training and mental preparation with Back of Pack's audience.
Concept: We both run the same 50-miler as a pair, filming each other, and each cut our own version from the shared footage - one video about the gear and fuelling decisions, the other about the pacing and the mental side.

| Editing deadline | September 25 | Both |
| Publish date | September 29 | Both |
Terms - to agree before anyone films
Split: No payment - since this is a joint video collaboration, we will not be exchanging any payment.
The six questions to settle in writing
- Who publishes first? - I'd suggest we both publish our videos at the same time, to maximize cross-traffic.
- Thumbnails and titles - I propose we coordinate our thumbnails and titles to ensure they are consistent and complementary.
- Promotion commitments - I'd suggest we both commit to promoting each other's videos on our social media channels.
- Content approval - I propose we both review and approve each other's edits before publishing.
- Exclusivity or cool-down - I'd suggest we agree to not collaborate with direct competitors for a period of 6 months after this collaboration.
- What if we do not want to publish it? - I propose we agree that if either of us is not happy with the final product, we can decline to publish it.
How it works
Add your platform and what you actually make
Be specific: "fitness" is too broad, "home workouts for busy parents" is useful. The overlap judgement is the whole engine here, and it cannot be made against a category label.

Questions
What is a credit?
The unit a run is priced in. Each app has a fixed price in credits, shown on its Generate button, and a run costs exactly that. Nothing is metered by length or time.
Am I charged if a run fails?
No. Starting a run holds the credits rather than spending them. The hold becomes a charge only when the run succeeds; a failed or cancelled run releases it.
Can I edit the brief and run it again?
Yes. Change any input and press Generate again, or open an earlier run and choose Adjust and run again to start from a copy of its brief. Uploaded files need attaching again. Each run is new and costs the applet's price; the earlier run stays as it was.
Where are my results kept?
Every run you start is listed under Your runs at /create/runs. Each one opens its own page, where you can read, copy and download the files it produced.
